Helping children from war zones

Palestine and Ukraine are the first names that come to mind when we think of wars, but there are actually 32 wars happening in the world in 2023.

In all those places, children are the most affected, as they depend on adults which many times are fighting, injured, or killed.

Houses of Joseph wants to be those missing adults, replacing what those children lost in any way we can.

Who are we

Houses of Joseph is an organization devoted to help children from war zones.

These are by far the most affected by wars, as they are either killed, injured, or lose their parents without having anyone to help.

How we help

Love

Did you know that even monkeys prefer love than milk? Children need love especially when faced with harsh conditions and we will provide it as their parents would

Food and water

Children are in a growing phase and require more food and water than adults. These however are the first thing to be gone during conflicts, and thus it must be recouped

Housing

Bombs respect no one, and it is common in war zones for children to lose their homes. We will provide housing solutions for them, either in their own countries, or through foster parenting in other countries

Education

Can anyone reasonably expect that a child who has lost everything will not want revenge? So many terrorists were born out of that. We will prevent that from happening though love and education

Why Saint Joseph?

Saint Joseph is our mentor and Houses of Joseph is entrusted to his care, as he is by far the most qualified person for taking care of children from war zones.


In fact, he adopted and took care of a child who was not biologically his and saved him from being killed by the soldiers of Herod.


That child grew to be a world leader and a model for peace for all races, creeds, etc: Jesus.


That is why Houses of Joseph is open to everyone who cares about children, regardless of their personal beliefs.

Become an Ambassador in your area!

Houses of Joseph works through "Ambassadors": regular people in war zones who want to help children. These must be of extremely good and curated characters, as they will be interfacing directly with children and their families.

Houses of Joseph is devoted to Saint Joseph, who we see as the ultimate foster parent. It was created and is run by catholics but welcomes anyone

Where are we

We are UK based but plan to open houses everywhere there is a conflict. We do not take part or sides in any conflict: our only care is the children regardless of sides, religions, races, etc
